Get Your Blog On!

The wonderful Traci at Beneath My Heart just did an awesome post on how to grow your blog.  Traci was fortunate enough to attend the recent blogging convention, BlissDom, in Tennessee and was gracious enough to share with us some very good tips for growing your blog.  I encourage everyone to go check it out.  I'm so glad I did because I found some great resources for networking and connecting with other great bloggers.  You will see them added to my sidebar.  These sites are pretty easy to join and offer some very worthwhile tips on how to promote your blog.

In other news, I've been having problems with customizing my blog lately and am asking you to be patient with me during this frustrating time.  I've lost the buttons of some of my favorite bloggers and am experiencing trouble trying to move things around in my sidebar.

Additionally, my Blogaversary Giveaway is ending tonight at 9:00 p.m. so please make sure you enter here before then.

Hope you all have a blessed weekend!

Are you using the latest Mozilla Firefox release for your browser? Because I figured out that's what was causing my problems. Couldn't move things around in Gadgets. If this is your problem, email me and I'll tell you in detail what I figured out. Don't want to drone on here if you're using IE or something else.

First of all, I love the occupation you have listed on your profile... thrifter extraordinaire. I think it sounds like the perfect job.

Secondly, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment. I'm new to blogging so the comments are very exciting.

I'm following you so hope we can talk soon.

Blessings,
Necel from the Old House in Texas

Hi Kim,
Thank you for stopping by! I feel your pain about the cold weather. I grew up in Wyoming and used to get so upset when it would snow on my birthday in May. That's why I live in Vegas now!

Absolutely not, I do not mind if you share the blog post about onions...now if I make a million off of it someday, I certainly will expect some compensation!!! :D...just kidding!!

Kim: Thanks for taking a look at my blog! Wendy is a sweetheart! My house looks nothing like either of yours, though I do have some hidden treasures here and there. I look forward to reading more and am happy you took the time to connect!

Kim,
A few months ago one of my sidebars slipped to the bottom and it took me days to sort out the problem. Hope your staying warm I know you've gotten LOTS of snow!

I came over to let you know that my blog has moved and I would love it if you would come to the new site and RE-sign up to follow me there.

I also have a question for you. I have a friend from Kansas City and she acquired a piece of furniture from a client (it was free) and she was going to put it in her friends booth, she painted it and updated it and then her friend moved and she couldn't put it in the booth. She has been trying to sell through Craigslist with out much success. I thought of you--are you still doing your business? Any tips for her. I told her I would touch base with you and see if you had any ideas.

Thanks for sharing--I'm always excited to read blogging tips.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and welcoming me to SITS! I'm sad for you that those dang Girl Scouts recalled the only cookie you bought, but maybe that's a good thing (it would be good for me if they never made anymore cookies ever again). :-)
