Flip Flop Swap Show & Tell, And My Giveaway Win!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all of my wonderful blog friends.  Hope you are all enjoying a relaxing day today. As part of my gift, my family gave me the day off to do whatever I want.  So, of course, I'm blogging!  What else would I do with my free time?

I recently participated in a Flip-Flop Swap hosted by my Jersey sista up North, Kimberly from Kimberly's Korner.  Now, I basically live in flip-flops from April to October, so this was a party I just couldn't pass up.  I was linked up with the adorable Kate, from southern-belle-simple and she sent me these beauties in the mail.

Aren't they the cutest bit of size 11 footwear you've ever seen?  Yep, I'm gonna be stylin' this Summer fur shurrrr!  Thanks Kate!  And thanks Kimberly for thinking up this great swap!

And canIgeta Whoot Whoot for winning the most amazing giveaway - a $60 gift card to CSN, an awesome online decorator's dream!!!  The delightful Tracy from Tracy's Trinkets and Treasures hosted this generous giveaway and I was the lucky winner.  Yay Me!!!  I took forever to order because I just couldn't make up my mind.  There were just too many goodies to choose from!  But I'm thrilled with what I got and can I just tell you that I ordered on a Friday, and I received a big'ole box on Saturday!  I kid you not!  It was that lickety quick!  Do yourselves a favor this Mother's Day and go check out this site.  I promise you will not be disappointed!
So here's what I picked out for myself with my gift card:

A bright red set of tin canisters for my kitchen.

LOVE these!

And this beautiful Tuscan yellow urn, also for my kitchen.

I added some ivy and made a little vignette on my fridgerator.

Can you see how big it is?
And can you believe I got ALL of that for $60!  I'm just so happy and I can't thank Tracy enough.  If you've never visited Tracy's blog, you must go pay her a visit.  She's one of the sweetest ladies I've had the pleasure of meeting here in Blogtown.

Real quick I wanna show you what my family got me for Mother's Day.
I asked Mr. Bliss for some yardsale money for Mother's Day and he very generously obliged!  He also rented me this from Blockbuster.

He knows how much I love curling up on the couch to watch the Hallmark Channel movies so he got me this one to watch tonite.  Isn't that just the sweetest thing ever!

Miss Bliss got me this cute little PJ shirt that I just love!  Mal knows me so well and saw this shirt and said it reminded her of me.  She was right on.  I would have SO picked this out for myself.  Thanks Mally!

And Little Miss Bliss, well, lemme just tell you, her gift came straight from the heart.  Yesterday while yardsaling, I saw this and wanted it.

I asked how much the seller wanted for it and he just said make me an offer.  Shute!  I'm SO bad at that.  I don't mind negotiating, but at least give me a starting point!  So I walked to the back of the house and when I came back out front, it was gone.  I looked at the seller and he said, someone just bought it.  I couldn't believe it!  That quick!  Of course I had to torture myself, so I asked,  "How much?"  He said, "Three dollars".  Crap!
Well now I suppose you see where this is going.  While I was out back my sweet little Amy, with the help of my BFF, got that man to sell her his popcorn maker for $3 for her mommy for Mother's Day.
Sniff, sniff.

So put those three gifts together and you can guess what I'm gonna be doing tonight to wrap up my Mother's Day celebration.

Before I go, I just want to say to those of you who are struggling this Mother's Day because of a loss or other reason, I am thinking of you and praying that God will give you peace on this difficult day.  Love to you all.
xoxo,
Kim
