Denise and I had another successful show yesterday at Clover Market on what was one of the most beautiful days so far this Fall. The turnout was amazing and we had lots of repeat business from our last show. All in all, it was a great day!
So grab your coffee and a comfy seat, cause I've got lots of pix to share with you.
We were still setting up at this point, which is why there are a few bare spots here.
Not a cloud in the sky!
Don't worry, we fixed the tablecloth.
My beautiful business partner!
We had lots of vintage "junk".
My "baby" went to a good home. I couldn't have been happier!
As you can see, we have a little bit of everything.
I loved these vintage canisters and hated to part with them. Same with the yellow scale.
Our first sale of the day was this antique medicine cabinet that I added chicken wire to.
Our mailing list quickly filled up by the end of the day.
We had a little visitor for a while.
Olive belonged to our sweet neighbors at the next booth over. She was so good all day.
We almost sold out of these vintage suitcases.
A beautiful pair of antique rosewood chairs.
I love the gorgeous flamestich fabric on these babies.
Remarkably, neither of them sold.
Same for this Hekman sofa table.
Here's what it looked like before.
And after with the A.S.C.P. treatment in Old Ochre.
For this piece I used dark wax all over before I used the clear. It made it much darker than the original color. It almost looks like reclaimed wood now.
Shhh, don't tell Denise, but I was secretly hoping this wouldn't sell. It would look great in my Family Room!
Our next show is November 6th at Clover Market. That will be here before we know it so I've got lots of work to do.
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulicious week!
xoxo,
Kim

I can see why you did so well...you had some nice stuff, Kim! I can't believe no one bought that beautiful sofa table, either. Oh, the lucky person who was smart enough to grab up that china cupboard...gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
Have a great week...
Do you have any shows closer to me?? :)) I love those two chairs...I would only need one but its for our 2nd home so I don't want to spend alot of money. I am not sure if they are antique or not. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sofa table. How much is that?? I really love all your stuff.
You sure did have many great things to sell. The nightstands are so pretty and the sofa table.

Oh wow...my mom had that same set of vintage metal canisters (flour/tea/coffee/sugar) and sold them on a garage sale last year for next to nothing. Was that wrong??? Should she not have done that??? I just figured they were cheapy 80s canisters but maybe they are more special than that! I loved seeing all the things you had for sale...if I had visited your booth I know I could have done some damage to my pocketbook!

Congrats Kim! Sounds like you two did pretty well. I can't believe the sofa table didn't sell! I love it! It would look great in my foyer too. Oh well, I guess I will have to enjoy it in yours. Looks like the sale was a lot of fun too!
I'm loving that sofa table! What a transformation. I'm dying to try ASCP.
Excuse me....that turquoise dresser in the middle ....is screaming.....Emily's bedroom.
I hope it went to a good home.
Psssst. That's kinda what I'd like Emily's to look like when I'm done.
