Outdoor Wednesday

Do you see me??

Get a little closer.

Do you see me now?  Come on in a little bit closer.

Here I am!

I'm a morning dove.

I have to leave for a little while.  Would you mind keeping an eye on these for me while I'm gone?

They are very special to me, and I wouldn't want anything to happen to them while I'm away.

I saw a stork at this house a few months back, so I thought this would be a safe place to have my babies too.

Baby Bliss was baptized last Sunday.  God Bless you my sweet baby boy.

O, Kim, several years ago, we had a Mourning Dove's nest right outside a bedroom window and I blogged about it several times...from eggs to hatch, then to flying away with it's mamma.
This is a wonderful photo of your hubby, you and Baby Bliss. You look FANTASTIC.! :))

Great pictures - All of them. :D
I love to hear mourning doves. I use to hear them more often around here. Hope the neighborhood cats did not get some of them.

Oh, I adore morning doves...when I was a little girl there was a pair that nested right outside my window. Just "picturing" their sweet calls fills me with childhood memories! :)

What a sweet post and so happy for you and your sweet baby boy! I too have a "child of my old age" and he is the best thing that has ever happened to us...even if we are going to be in our 60's when he graduates high school...God does have a sense of humor.:) So glad you found me!

So sweet -- first Baby Bliss & then the Morning Dove. We have tons of those around here, but I've never seen one nesting. Thanks for sharing the wonderful photos of the dove & that special one of "The Blissfuls."

Thanks for the nice compliment on the patio! I am so glad spring is here and we can enjoy it and the nice weather. I bet it's still a little cool where you live, I hope it warms up for you soon. Loved the pics of the sweet dove...

How funny you collect turtles,I have always had a thing for them.

Hi Kim
First of all, such a sweet picture of your little son. You look fantastic too!
And thanks for the pics of the mourning doves. I just realized that I haven't seen any since we moved to Texas and I miss their sounds. Maybe I need a bird feeder close to my window to attract them.
Thanks for sharing.

Oh my goodness! I would've totally missed that! It seems so blended into the surroundings. Growing up my dad had an avary with all kinds of birds, peacocks included. My favorite were the ring neck doves. It was my job to feed all these birds in their separate pens (huge walk-ins!) I sed to put the doves on a long broom handle and walk around with them. They were the most compliant of all the birds! LOL
