Home Sweet Home

Thought I would take a break from doing post-vacation laundry to show you some pictures from Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

We stayed at the Music Road Hotel - our favorite in Pigeon Forge.

Here are some pix of the inside.

It is so elegant inside and I always drool over the decor.

The view from the back terrace.

Believe me when I tell you, I did NOT want to leave!

Fun at Wonderworks.

Yes, that building is upside down!  A sign of what's to come inside...

A simulated hurricane.  That's our friends' kids Jack and Victoria with my Mallory and Amy.

Amy rock climbing.

Fun with bubbles!

The most beautiful spot in the Smokey Mountains, Cades Cove.

Having fun with my camera.

I will share more pictures later.  For now, I'm off to catch up on my blogging and visit some of your fun blogs to see what you have been up to!

Thanks for visiting.
xoxo,
Kim

Kim, it looks like you had a great time. I love Cades Cove especially when the leaves change. That upside down building looks very strange. We visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge almost yearly in the fall. We don't usually stay there, but we drive up and eat and shop and then stay back in Cherokee or Asheville. Your family shot is so cute. Do I spy that belly bump? Have a super day. Kim

I LOVE that area of the country. Our family went to Great Smoky Mountains National Park back in 1998, and we did all the touristy things around that area, including a trip to Pigeon Forge. We definitely fell in love.

Another blog I read...they went to Pigeon Forge last weekend for their anniversary. Must be THE place to visit this year.

Have a lovely day,

Kim, I just wanted to stop by and see how you are doing! I hope you are feeling well! We made the trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg this summer, as well! The Hampton Inn didn't look quite as nice! We didn't go in the upside down building, but did go next door to the Titanic display...awesome! I bought a book about it and have been in awe of the ship ever since! We took the kids rafting...what an awesome trip! Take care of yourself! Christie at Three Pixie Lane

Looks like a really awesome place. I will need to look this area up and see if someday we can visit it. We have friends in Tennessee...we plan to visit them soon, and maybe this will be a stop. Hope you are doing well. See you on here hopefully soon! Hugs!
