That's the sound ringing throughout Blogland after my announcement that I'm going to host a weekly What's On Your Craig's List Party. Yep, my idea went over like an orphan at a family reunion. Seems I'm just about the only one who has an obsession with Craig.
But not to worry, all is not lost! I'm still forging ahead with my plan, except instead of a linky party, it will be more of a weekly feature series. Once a week I will do a post about the fabulous finds on my local Craig's List and show what's hot in my neck of the woods.
I think it will be fun and there's no pressure to participate.
As always, I appreciate your input. You guys rauck!

Sounds like fun...I've only used Craig's List to advertise my antique sales...I need to check it out here, too!

Show us what you find. I look at our list almost everyday and never have found anything to make me get in the car. I'm not giving up though!
I missed that announcement! I'm actually pretty obsessed myself after I found my lamp there! There's not a ton on my Craigslist, but I'll participate when I can. :)
Wish I could join in, but I have not seen anything earthshaking on Craigslist in my area.

Awww...I didn't think your Craigslist party idea was a bad one. I just never shop Craigslist because around here, everything is either total crap or grossly overpriced. No middle ground for bargain hunters to sneak in and snatch good deals! But I loved seeing the finds from your area last week!

Hi Kim, I got on craig's list for the first time tonight. There were some pretty good bargains, but not as many as you have in your area I'm sure. I'm keeping my eye out for a new kitchen table and chairs. I think your idea is great! I love seeing what you find...if I find something interesting then I will join in. Don't ditch this great idea ... do it, build it, they WILL come ... count me in {although you and I will probably post the same items!} ... this sounds like fun ....try running it for just the summer and if it catches on or you still want to do it, you can always keep it going!
