A Notch On Our Belt!

Well the first show for Larkspur Interiors was a huge success!  I'm just thrilled at how much we sold and the fact that we had a blast was just icing on the cake.  The day could not have been any better as the temperatures were in the low 70's and the crowd was buzzing the entire time.

I spent the past week recuperating as I was sick leading up to the show and a few days after.  In addition, my camera got left behind in the U-Haul we rented for the day and wasn't discovered until this weekend - terrible news for a blogger with such great pictures to share!  So without further ado, here are some pix of Clover Market.

Lots and lots of jewelry - vintage and handmade.

The vendor above was from Lancaster and all of his goods were handmade!
He had the.most.amazing.coffee.table!  A totally fabulous industrial factory cart on wheels made with the most gorgeous reclaimed wood I've ever seen!  If I didn't have a baby on the move, I'd have scooped it up for $400.

Loved this booth!

And their name - Nanny Goat Antiques.  So cute!

This next one is Jill and Beth's booth.  They have amazing blogs I'm sure you've seen before.  Jill's blog is Gypsy Brocante and Beth's is The Gypsy Fish.  Their shop is called Gypsy Barn Market and their wares are the bomb-diggity!  You should seriously check out their website and browse the virtual eye candy.
Take a look for yourself.

All handmade by Jill and Beth.  Next market I'm going to treat myself to one of those bags!

Here's a pic of Jill and me at my booth.

Jill is the sweetest!  She came right over as we were setting up and made me feel so much more relaxed and put my mind at ease.  I was ready to lower my prices before the market even started and thankfully Jill talked me out of it.  My nerves were on overdrive!

Here are some shots of our booths.

A huge thank-you to our dear friend Marie, who came along to help us set up.  We could not have done it without her.  Just wish I had a pic of us all together.

We had tons of fun and Denise and I can't wait for the next market in October.  Of coarse there is no rest for the weary.  We have so much work to do and restocking is in order as we sold out of over half of our merchandise!  Woo Hoo!!

Here's a peak at our latest projects.

Got this sweet hall table over the weekend.

Hubby picked this little guy up at the auction last week.  Thanks babe!

Just needs a little love.

Well that's what I've been up to lately.  I appreciate all of your well-wishes for our first show and especially all of the sweet comments about Denise's Mother-in-Law, Sandy, who died of Alzheimer's the week before our show.  Consequently this September marks the first annual Alzheimer's Awareness Month.  Please remember to pray for those affected by this terrible disease.

Thanks for checking in and have a fabulicious week!
xoxo,
Kim
