Shhhh....Do You Hear That??

That's the sound of me going "Aahhhhhh".  The sound I make when all of my Christmas decorations are down, the house is clean and I feel like I can breathe again.  Such a great feeling.  And so great to have my house back to normal.

Since I was already in declutter mode, I moved things around in here and did a huge purge.  I've got at least 3 totes headed to Goodwill.

But I won't get too used to this feeling of calm.  In about 2 weeks, this wide open space will be filled once again.  Only this time, instead of Christmas trees and garland, it will be baby swing, bouncy seat and bassinet!  Oh Boy!

Hi Kim! Oh, your living room looks wonderful. I'm trying to do that too but I'm moving very slowly. I think I have all the Christmas stuff put away - I turn around and see something I over looked! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Good for you for getting your house de-Christmasfied! I'm not there yet but I think that's my chore for tomorrow. I know what you mean...we had our tree in the corner of our living room and the next thing that will go there will be a baby swing!

It looks gorgeous. I love your colors and your decor is lovely. I feel the same way, love having all the Christmas decor packed away and some major decluttering. Hugs, Marty

I always think how pretty your living room is when I see it! I'm happy you are feeling better with all of your Christmas things put away. I could change that mood by emailing you a picture of my house! Not one thing has changed yet! I am still enjoying the tree although most of the decorations are going soon. I am just a little kid at Christmas!

XO,
Jane

Your room looks beautiful! And, I know you can't wait to have baby *decor* scattered about. We can't wait to meet your new addition ... you're truly blessed. Have a great (and quiet) day, Becca

Ooh, that sweet baby will be here soon, so you better enjoy that clean, clutter free room while you can. I hope you are sitting with your feet propped up enjoying and resting.

Oh my goodness! Kim, your living room looks Fabulous! The only thing missing is the camera and the man snapping the photographs for "HOUSE BEAUTIFUL!"

I totally agree with taking a big sigh after removal of all the Christmas Decorations. Whew Wee! But I can tell you, I'd give my eye-teeth (and I'm telling you true because they mean a lot to me) I'd give anything to be there in 2 weeks. Christmas all over again..except this gift is a poignant reminder of God's Continued Blessings On Your House! Sending Love & Prayers, Terri
