Shed Envy

Happy Thursday!  We are over the hump and well on our way to the weekend!  Yippeee!!
This morning I am SO excited because my oldest daughter Mallory's guidance counselor called me last week to say that she is receiving a special award today at a special ceremony in school and invited Rich and I to be there to surprise her.  She doesn't know about the award or the ceremony.  And we don't know what the award is for, but you can bet I'll be posting about it later!

This morning I came across a blog with some serious eye candy for the outdoor enthusiast.  A garden shed for girls.  Only girls - no boys allowed!

I spy with my little eye a chandy!
LOVE that sign!!!

So run, don't walk, over to Three Pixie Lane, a fabulous blog by the sweet Christie, and take a peek at this amazing creation by her husband.  You WON'T be disappointed!!!!

xoxo,
Kim

I love sheds...my Mom had one at her last home, it was her gardening shed, it was like a big girls doll house. This is beautiful!

How exciting that your daughter will be surprised with an award and you there, too. Love that shed. I have been wanting one for years and he keeps telling me he is going to build one. He just needs to get around to it.

Oh Kim this is amazing! Who wouldn't love to have one of these for their girls?

I have been trying to talk hubby into building a chicken coop...the one like Heather Bullard's! Maybe we can use this as inspiration too!

Enjoy!
Cathy

Congrats to your daughter...how exciting!

THIS is a shed? I think retreat is a more apt word. How fun.

Regarding Sean, aka Kirk, I was like "Who is that guy. I know him." Then he spoke to his girlfriend, what a cute gal, and I was like KIRK! Because his voice is so distinctive. Nice as pie. Nice, nice.

Aren't you proud? :)
That shed is divine!
I wonder if 1 adult could just live in it? (Me.)
Would cut down on the bills!
I recognize those spice boxes from The Lettered Cottage kitchen--
I hope you are having a wonderfully blissful day!
Hugs to you!

Congrats to your Mallory - I have a Mallory too. She is will be 27 late summer. Love the shed. We had a large shed/playhouse really, at our last home. I do miss it at times.

So I shall start by saying, I love allof your gorgeous treasures that you found this week, had a huge chuckle over bits of your Craigslist post - mind you I really seriously wanted to become an embalmer, even up until a few years ago...decided to go with teaching ;) Now... I have a shed, but it looks nothing like this beauty! What a dreamy place it is! Thank you for sharing these fabulous pics:) Hope you are having a wonderful weekend my friend ~ Tina xx

Hi Kim
First off, congrats to your daughter! You must be very proud! Second, I would loooove to have a little potting shed all to myself! It would be kind of like a little play house :) Someday.............
