Just wanted to get in a quick post. Since I started blogging a few months ago, I've noticed that I've been letting things slip around here. The laundry has been getting clean and dinners make it on the table (maybe not on time), but the nitty gritty stuff, like switching the kids closets over from Winter to Summer and all of the other stuff I've been putting off just could not be put off any longer gals! One thing I've learned from blogging is that it will all get done eventually and if it doesn't, oh well. I'm much easier on myself than I used to be and I LOVE that! But from time to time I guess there will be a short haitus from my new favorite past time.
You know that feeling that you get every time you walk past a room and there's that voice in your head going "Memo to ME - vacuum that floor tomorrow" or "organize that on Wednesday" ??? Well I'm SO there. I hate that voice and I just needed to shut it up. So that's where I've been, in case you were wondering.
And now that the yard is weeded, the flowers are planted, the closets are organized, the windows washed, the refrigerator cleaned out and all cobwebs have been removed.....I am in my happy place. And I will be back in blogging action ASAP! Can't wait to catch up on all of your amazing blogs!

You have made me feel soooo guilty! I need to be doing that instead of sitting in front of this computer. This blogging does get so time consuming, and I just haven't figured out how to stay away from it long enough to accompish much of anything (would you say I have zero willpower? You'd be right). laurie
Know exactly what you mean.:)

I was just thinking about you! You've done more than I have!!!! And it looks like I'll be working most of June! So much for that part-time job! I may not be posting but I like to keep up with everybody! God Bless! Lauralu :)
Hey there girlie!
I'm glad to hear you've been such a busy bee, and not just moving on to bigger and better things. ;)
I think I may have to take a blogging hiatus here in the coming weeks, as my house is becoming a bit neglected as well.
I've missed ya'. Can't wait until you're back to blogging on a more full time basis. ;)
Talk to you soon.

I totally understand! and the whole time you are cleaning...you are wondering what is going on in blogland! I check my emails often to take a "break" lol
have fun!
Life does get busy sometimes doesn't it!
See you later,
Carolyn
I totally understand. We were walking this morning and I was telling my friend that I've had this list of things to do for two weeks. Each Friday I'm realizing none of it is done. That's so bad!!
Thank you for leaving the TWO wonderful comments on my blog. It seeems we do have a lot in common and I am glad that we "found" each other in Blog Land ;o)
But. I . MIss. You!
Get it done....quickly.....and come back.
But I do want you to enjoy your break. Holler when you return.
Hugs!
Thanks for being a reader. Hope I don't get to boring for you. I thought I was already signed on as a reader of your blog, but found that I'm not. That is ok, I'll fix that.:-) I enjoy reading your posts.

Oh boy do I relate. I took last week and went through and cleaned all the cupboards in the kitchen and the pantry. What a job, but like you I feel like we're back to a little bit of an organized world. Thanks so much for joining the Cloche Party. I think it will be a lot of fun to see all the creative ideas everyone has. Several ladies also want to show their apothecary jars, so if you have any of those, be sure to show us how you decorate with them too. Thanks again. Hugs, Marty
