Are You As Hungry As I Am??

When eldest asked me to read this book, my first thought was, what's a book?  Seriously, who has time for this reading thing?  And if I DO have time, I prefer to spend it more productively, like brushing my teeth or shaving the bottom half of my legs (don't judge - that's all I have time for, and capris cover the top anyway).

But she kept persisting until I pretended to read it just to shut her up please her.  And guess what?  It's freakin' unbelievably good.  I'm almost done and my appetite for The Hunger Games movie is insatiable.  Are you as hungry as I am?

I read all three in like a week, they are REALLY good books. While I am anxious to see the movie, I'll probably wait for several weeks until the newness wears off...but that's just me! I'll be anxious to hear what you think of the movie!

Hi Kim!
I've been reading the YA books for years. They are pretty good and often very imaginative.
I read all three in quick succession. Not sure if I'll see the movie, but I did enjoy the books very much.

I am getting ready to read it too. Of course, I've been saying that for a week now. I'm glad to hear moms like it too...

I read all three too. I am looking forward to the movie, though I did hear in order to keep the PG-13 rating it has been mad a lot less graphic than the book.

I will have to start reading these books. It's apparently the in thing right now. That's all you hear about right now... so I guess I'll cave and buy the books. BTW, I was giggling while reading this post. I promise not to judge you about the shaving thing, because that's all I have time for too. Lol, but even after only shaving half of my leg, I feel pretty darn accomplished! Am I right?
God bless you. Thanks for the morning laughs!

I don't know I haven't read the book or seen the movie but I just don't think its my cup of tea. Everyone I know LOVES it except one person my sister who said she couldn't get into the book. I guess I should try.

I really enjoyed the books and will go see the movie once the crowds calm down.

I haven't read the books yet. However the suspense of knowing what they are about is killing me, so I will be buying them.
