One Person's Trash.....

WARNING:  You may need to sit down for this post.

I've done countless posts on my curbside treasures.  Here's one for the record books.

My BFF and business partner Denise and her hubby Tom recently found this antique buffet with other trash on someone's curb and scooped it right up.

I am not kidding.

I'm no expert, but if I were to list this on Craig's List it would go something like this:

Art Deco buffet, good condition, dovetail drawers, beautiful inlay.  All original hardware.

It's just that simple....

I don't understand why people throw perfectly good pieces of furniture out. Even if they don't want to sell it at least donate it. There are so many organizations now that come to you to collect donations and they don't all want just clothes. This is definitely a true case of someone's trash being a treasure, Kim!

I can only guess but I would have to guess poor mama died and son is throwing out her things. What else could it be to throw a piece like this out. Trish
