What a differnce a year makes!

Couldn't let the year pass without giving a shout out to all my peeps. You gals in blogland are the best and it's hard to believe that just one short year ago, I didn't even know what a blog was. None of you were in my life and now your names are so familiar to me it's as if I've known you my whole life. Just like having a baby, I almost can't remember what life was like without blogging. It has changed me in so many ways for the better. At the risk of being extremely mushy, I love you guys. Ha! I do! And with props to Sally Field, you like me, you really like me!

I can't begin to imagine what things the great Wizard of Blog has in store for us all in 2010. What new friends will we meet? What new ideas will we be inspired by? What new piece of furniture will be transformed and saved from eternal doom in a landfill.....okay, I'm getting a little carried away. But truthfully, as I sit here and look around at my surroundings, I didn't have more than half of the pieces that are in this room with me right now. And it's all because of blogging! Ha!

So to you and yours, have a very Blessed and Happy New Year. Be safe tonight and sleep in tomorrow. Watch some football or a cheesy parade (around these parts it's the Mummers). Eat some comfort food. Maybe even blog. But most importantly, spend time with your families.

Until next year!

You betcha we like you, Kim! You have been a joy to know and your blog has been one of my faves; your sense of humor is great and your taste in decorating is an inspiration.

I'm looking forward to 2010 and making new friends and enjoying the ones, like you, I already know.

Have a blessed new year!

Hi Kim, What nice things you said in your post...I've met alot of good friends here in blogland too and I'm so thankful for all of you guys! Now that the holidays are over, I should have more blogging time...yeah!! Don't worry, I didn't know what a blog was until around August of last year. I started reading "Designs By Gollum" I followed her from Rate My Space. The only reason I have a blog is because my hubby Kevin knew how to set one up...I had no clue! He still has to help me with stuff all the time. My brain does not work like his!lol...I hope you have a wonderful New Year's Eve!! Kristen

Hey you...my Jersey gal pal! Happy New Year to you and your family! I sure was thinking about you and that blizzard you got recently. I can truly relate with regards to looking around my home and seeing new (or old things made to look new again)all because I discovered this great world of blogging! I have made some great blogging pals...you being one of them! Did I ever tell you that Jersey Boys is my all time favorite play...caught it in NYC in '06! Just thought I'd throw that in! Hugs from your Southern California pal!
