New Pretties

Just wanted to share some of the new pretties that will be available in my Etsy store this week.
This sweet bowl is going to be the hardest for me to part with. It looks so delicate and dainty, but it is actually made out of metal, not sure what kind, and made in Italy. I picture it in a powder room displaying decorative soaps, or maybe some potpourri.

A painted tin canister/ice bucket made in England.

A beautiful needlepoint pillow.

You'll have to excuse the next picture - it was a terrible camera angle. This is a milkglass compote - pretty common - except this one is PINK! I fell in love with this for it's delicate shade of pink.

I will also be sharing some pictures of the new vintage Christmas items I will be selling in the weeks to come!!

Thanks for visiting and have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Kim,
I had to smile and laugh at your last post about the rail that you took down...
I'll have to check out those magazines at Barns & Nobles when I have some free time :)
Happy Thanksgiving.

What great treasures- and yes, I would have a hard time parting with the first dish ( all of them in fact).

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Miss Kim.

God Bless You-

Oh Kim...I know it will be hard to part with these treasures. That's always the hard part for me, deciding what I want to keep and what I'll part with. Believe me girlfriend I keep way more than I should even tell! LOL! That bowl is so pretty...and I too can imagine it in a bathroom with soaps in it! That pillow is gorgeous and the I've seen the milk glass compotes, but that pink is especially awesome...I love that! I hope you and your family have a Very Happy Thanksgiving!

You had to put that part about Italy in just for me, didn't you? Wonder if I can sneakily show that to my daughter when she's here for Thanksgiving? What a great Christmas gift!

Those are some pretties! I have a hard time parting with things sometimes too. I made a few pairs of little girl shoes that I sold on ebay. I was so flattered that someone actually purchased them but I was so sad to see them go.
Happy Thanksgiving to ya!

Hi Kim! Thanks for visiting my blog and the sweet comments!
The 'trim' around the candle holders are pearl garlands..they come in a long strand and I just wrapped them around the candle holders. I've seen them in the fancy/schmancy florist shop, as well as specialty gift shops. I don't have the original package anymore otherwise I could tell you the exact brand they're called..hope that helps some!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Blessings!

I am so glad that you visited Blue Creek Home! I love your blog...
I'm following!

I love the needlepoint pillow and the lacey bowl.

In answer to your question about the tray - I got it about 15 years ago at an antique mall. I have no idea what it is!! It's metal and old and cute, so I bought it!

Now that is a pretty pale pink compote..lovely!
I wanted to tell you also that that last dolly on my blog is considered a "preemie" and the clothing was bought at a secondhand childrens store for "gently used" baby clothes. Her pacifier had fallen on the floor. Glad she looked real to you. Her hair is all rooted one at a time. Cute little doll.

I cannot wait to see the finished area where you took the railing out! :)
