To Buy or Not To Buy.....that is the question

I heart this piece of furniture. It's listed locally on Craig's List for $75. It is an antique French Provincial settee - original, not reproduction. It would look great in my shabby master BR. I just need some opinions from my trusty blog friends. So let me know - the sooner the better LOL!! Thanks!!!

$75. YES! Very cute and very shabby and very unique! (I guess you need to look at what else you need to buy first though and prioritize. LOL!)

Hi Kim,
Thank you so much for stopping by "The Zoo". Your comment was so sweet and it made me all giggly with joy. I have to tell you that I am loving your blog too and that I am on my way right now to check it out. I just have a very demanding 2 year old to get to bed first! Apparently she thinks her polar bear needs a pedicure. ;)
By the way, blogging since February and 64 followers?! {oh, including me} Obviously they all have good taste.
Oh, btw, Yes you should buy that setee! $75! I'd haggle a little, but either way, someone else's junk, right? It's lovely.
Have a great night!

Buy it, buy it, buy it now! Either you buy it, decide you don't really want it or can't use it and you just resell it, or you buy it and love it. Buy not buying it just means kicking yourself forever! Yes, I have had some experience with this, lol!

I trust that you've already purchased this piece...if not, what are you waiting for???? ;-)
Honestly, $75 is a great price and it's lovely. You'll have it forever and it'll be the best $75 you've ever spent.

Oh Kim, Honey it looks like you! GET IT! You will regret it if you don't and if you get it and don't like it...for some reason...then you won't have a problem selling it! Here's what I ask myself before I buy something like that...can I resale it later on down the road? If yes is my answer...I buy it!

Buy it! then paint and distress the wood and it would be cool! You could probably even sell it for twice as much! Jen

I hope you bought it!! $75 is a steal, a piece like that over here in Europe would go for atleast 200 euros!!! What an amazing find-I can't wait to do the Craig's List thing someday!! Can't wait to see how you use that in your home. Have a blessed Mother's Day!
