After agonizing for about 3 weeks (that's not long for me!) I came up with this concoction.
My hubby was all too happy to oblige and made it exactly to my specifications. It turned out exactly as I had envisioned it. I then shattered his pride in his craftsmanship by adding some Shabby Chic accents. That is where you all come in. Please tell me what you think and don't be afraid! I have visited all of your blogs and I value all of your opinions greatly.
Thanks!!
Kim

Okay, I love the headboard!!! Tell your hubby he did a fantastic job! Love the plates and the wreath looks very cute! You have created a cottage look, and I adore it! Blessings, Nancy

Oh dear...I just tried to post a comment and it wouldn't go through. I'll try again.

Great design and craftsmanship. You and your husband are a good team. I really like it a lot and would love something like that myself.

What did you do with the rest of your bedroom furniture? I'm assuming it probably matched the old headboard. Did you paint it?

Stay warm and I hope your daughter is doing better. I remember how long the winters seemed in Jersey, but spring is right around the corner.

Oh, I LOVE this!!! Great job! I have been agonizing about what to do to our master. I had a whole vote on my blog about what I should do. Still haven't decided, though.
