Fine Art on the Cheap!

A while back I purchased a beautiful repro oil painting from a moving sale I found on Craig's List.

I paid $25 for it.

In its new home in the Dining Room.  Over to the right.

Looks nice, but a little lonely.

I found a buddy for it on Ebay.

Much better.

They make the perfect couple, don't you think??

For a wide assortment of mini-oil paintings at very reasonable prices, check out this store (click here).  I have no vested interest in this seller or store, just thought I'd share a good resource with you.  I purchased the small painting for only $19.99 plus shipping.  You'd pay so much more for this in an antique store or specialty shop.

They have tons to choose from, including botanicals, bunnies, roosters, sailboats and more, on your choice of frame.  I found the quality to be very good, you just have to add the hanger on back yourself.

Hope you are all enjoying a nice week.  Thanks for stopping by.
xoxo,
Kim

I like mixing paintings with gold frames...it doesn't matter at all if they match. I have three in a group and they look fabulous!

Love your new paintings! Have a great week, Kim.

I still can't get over the fact that we have the same dining set! :-) And this is so perfect because I have been looking to replace the paintings in my dining room FOREVER but just can't seem to find what I am looking for. I'm hopping over to take a look at that link right now! And your paintings look gorgeous by the way! :-)
