My oldest, Mallory, had a modeling assignment in Easton, PA last Friday. Since it was over 2 hours away and we had to be there at 8 o'clock in the morning, we decided to make a road trip out of it. Easton is a beautiful, picturesque town right outside of the Poconos. Rich booked us a room in a quaint hotel overlooking the Susquehanna River.
While Mal was working at Lafayette College just down the road, I decided to do some shopping. I was afraid to bring my new camera so I don't have any pictures, but I will show you what I brought home with me.
This super-cute quilt was in the window display of a salvage goods store, and it caught my eye from across the street. I.had.to.have.it. It was $95 but I got it for $80, which I think is a spankin-good deal given its great condition.
And this sweet little ole' chair made it's way into my car somehow.
For now it sits in the Family Room, but who knows where it could end up.
Mallory and I had so much fun. I can't wait to take another road trip with my girl.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulicious day.
xoxo,
Kim

I think you did good! Love the quilt.
Cute purchases! Easton is not far from us. I took the kids to the Crayola Factory there this past summer.
